Frankfield teacher, Paula Peart, an inspiration

GRATEFUL PARENTS

AND GUARDIANS

It is with utmost gratitude that I say thanks to Ms Paula Peart on behalf of the students and grateful parents of the Frankfield Primary and Infant School in Manchester.

Ms Peart had a class of 25 students. My nephew was part of that class. He was very slow, but through the dedication of Ms Peart, he improved in a way that shocked me.

Ms Peart made so many sacrifices for those students. She seems so young, yet she reminds me of the teachers of long ago.

She kept classes in the mornings and evenings without payment, and through that effort, 24 of the 25 students mastered the Grade Four Literacy Test.

Parents have testified that if their child misses school for one day, she would call the parents and stand the responsibility of the child going to school. I had to write this letter, as Ms Peart is one of the most dedicated teachers I have ever seen.

The students believe in her so much. Whatever she tells them, no one else seems to be able to say otherwise.

If she was working abroad, she would have been compensated for her accomplishment. If all teachers were to work as hard as this young teacher, the GSAT results would have been positively affected.

Merry Christmas, Ms Peart. May God bless you and continue to give you the strength to be the courageous and committed teacher you are.
