Munroe ideal messenger
THE EDITOR, Sir:
While some may see irony in Trevor Munroe's pursuit of integrity in public life, I think he is the perfect fit for the task he has undertaken.
Communism was always about fairness and equity, but unfortunately, separate and apart from the fact that all command economies failed, communism was a system made to be executed by angels and not by mere mortals.
Munroe's objectives threaten a powerful circle of those who thrive on corruption - indeed some would say they enter public life for that purpose - and I am, therefore, sceptical of those voices that would attempt to use his past utopianism to undermine his current efforts.
