Anti-Ferguson rage rooted in illiteracy
THE EDITOR, Sir:
When I saw the recent poll on chik-V of how and what people believe spreads the virus, I have to conclude that Dr Fenton Ferguson, the health minister, has been vindicated.
In my opinion, he educated the nation about this virus. Thus, if he could educate me, anyone should have been able to understand.
Look at the percentage of people who don't believe chik-V is spread by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. These people who don't believe it's the mosquito that passes the virus are illiterate and it is these people who say the minister has done a poor job on the chik-V. These people are not credible, nor is that poll result.
God bless you, Dr Ferguson. For it is politics and illiteracy that have undermined you.
