Road signs needed
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I wish to draw attention to two of the many places where road signs are lacking.
Returning to Kingston from Ocho Rios, the road at Moneague bears no indication of how one joins up with the new North-South Highway.
As we had been warned of this problem, and as we were travelling in daylight, we had recourse to asking a bystander and were directed to retrace our steps in order to make the connection.
The other problem spot is outside of Spanish Town, coming from the Bog Walk gorge, where there is no indication of how one links into the toll road that connects with Highway 2000.
The public would appreciate clear signage that would direct us to these new roads which cut down on traffic and time, and which contribute so much to the development of our country.
