Holness needs a distraction

The leader of the Opposition, Andrew Holness, needs a major distraction from his handling of the 'drafted, not crafted' letters that removed opposition senators Dr Christopher Tufton and Arthur Williams.

When Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller was faced with a similar problem with the Outameni scandal that dragged on and on, spurred by the "articulate minority", she did what was necessary. She turned to the stunningly gorgeous Lisa Hanna, the former Miss World, who simply put on a swimsuit and created a major distraction.

I am not sure if anyone in the Jamaica Labour Party can have such an impact. Some people are saying 'Babsy' Grange, in spite of her age, could give it a try.

What the opposition leader needs is a greater scandal than the one he is embroiled in. I am sure that whoever can conjure up such a plot could save Mr Holness' waning career.
