Poor customer service from Tastee Montego Bay

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I would like to express my extreme disappointment with the poor customer service which I have received on more than one occasion from the Tastee Jamaica Patty branch, located along Barnett Street in Montego Bay. The customer service is deplorable, the agents are rude and appear not trained properly. The waiting time can be long and I believe it is as a result of of the inefficient way in which they operate and, from my personal observation, there is no proper supervision of those serving staff. The second floor of that branch was designated for us customers to be able to dine and have our meals, yet for several months, this floor has been closed off and customers are not able to use same.

The management of Tastee should recognise the importance of offering good customer service to customers at all times and, if the company does not address the numerous customer service issues at the Barnett Street branch of Tastee, it will lose customers.

Wake up Tastee and start offering proper customer service at the Barnett Street branch. Nothing less is acceptable.

Companies such as Tastee seem to pay little attention to customer service and its overall impact on customers. This level of attitude must change or else customers like myself will take our business elsewhere.
