Don't wash dirty linen in public, JLP
THE EDITOR, Sir:
IT AMAZES me how Labourites never learn. They behave as if they are working for the People's National Party (PNP).
The big difference between the two parties is the treatment of their leaders and party business. While the Jamaica Labour Party manages the country's business better, the PNP manages party business better.
The PNP doesn't wash its dirty linen in public. When members of the PNP have problems, most of them go into retirement. Labourites either join the PNP or curse the party leaders publicly.
Wake up, Labourites! Let the Standing Committee or Central Executive resolve your issues; don't take them to the public or the media. Don't take matters to court unless you want the party to be in Opposition permanently.
