How does buggery help society?

Published:Tuesday | April 14, 2015 | 4:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

In response to Gordon Robinson's column in The Sunday Gleaner of April 12, 2015, I do agree with you that the HIV argument pertaining to homosexuality is not a robust plank. But whether Mr Robinson likes it or not, it will never be socially accepted in Jamaica. His erudition will not change our culture.

According to Mr Robinson, law is supposed to help society. How will amending the law to facilitate anal sex help society? Within context of our own country, do you think that those gays in New Kingston who frequently display violence and lawlessness will help society? Do you wish to see your son dressing like a drag queen going to a party in the future?

Stop abusing the term 'human rights'. Humans don't have a right to do anything that is not a crime.
