Praising cops who helped homeless man

Published:Tuesday | April 14, 2015 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

A group of police officers who were travelling in a patrol jeep in downtown Kingston stopped for a few minutes to give a homeless man a well-needed meal. I want those officers to know that someone was watching and was very proud of what they did.

Many of us always find a long list of reasons to curse our police force, and it is true that some of them let us down some times. However, whenever they do something good, they should be recognised.

Those law enforcers could have simply driven their vehicle by without caring anything for that homeless man. Yet, these officers took the time out from their busy schedule to help that homeless man. Once again, hats off to those cops!
