THE EDITOR, Sir:

Last week Monday, there was a busted underground pipe on Washington Drive, off Annette Crescent in Drumblair, that was repaired by the National Water Commission (NWC). They promised to return, on the following day, to repair the damage to the road.

I even got the name of the supervisor, I believe, who committed to have the road repaired. His name is Mr Orville Brown. It is more than one week later and there's still no sign of the NWC.

I've tried calling the NWC's toll-free number, which doesn't seem to work. I've even emailed the company, using the two email addresses on their websites. Those addresses don't work either. Why are they allowed to disrupt our roads in this manner and not be held accountable for the repairs?
