Do the right thing, JLP Senators

THE EDITOR, Sir:

It is said that contempt is the best weapon to beat an ass, but as Andrew Holness is not an ass, but a prime minister-in-waiting, perhaps we cannot treat him with contempt. It is also said you can lead an ass to the water, but you cannot make him drink. Since he is no ass, we can continue to try to make him drink the fact that it is in the best interest of Jamaica to make the CCJ its final court of appeal since we cannot finance the court in Jamaica, as he had been advocating, and we have already financed the CCJ.

However, since he has not said anything that makes sense, unlike other prime ministers of Jamaica, I do not think we should continue to waste time on him, but to encourage all JLP members in the Senate to do the right thing as right-thinking people and ignore Dictator Andrew who has said to JLP senators, "My way or the highway", just as Seaga said to his colleagues.
