Anal sex grave risk to health

Published:Wednesday | June 17, 2015 | 6:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The latest revelation that Mycoplasma genitalium, the new sexually transmitted infection around town, is directly linked to anal sex is great cause for concern, especially with the fact that Barack Obama came to Jamaica recently chastising the Government and, indirectly, the Jamaican people for our stance against these profane sexual acts committed not only by

homosexuals but by some heterosexual men.

The problem here is anal sex and its practitioners. They are the ones spreading these diseases, including the most dreaded one of all, AIDS. We cannot allow the United States to promote lifestyles that will put the health of Jamaica and the world at risk from serious diseases.

If people know that they are predisposed to these lifestyles, they must declare themselves and go live in their own communes and not mix with heterosexuals.
