Ken Jones ruled with ink
THE EDITOR, Sir:
It was with much sadness that I read of the passing of that venerable journalist Ken Jones. A confidant and family friend of many years standing, he was the listening ear and motivator for my infrequent and somewhat timid first steps into the world of the written word.
My senior in age and stature, Ken always found the time to share his experiences and accumulated knowledge that had become the wealth of his persona.
Whereas my late cousin, the talk-show host, 'Motty' Perkins, ruled the airwaves, Ken ruled supreme via his commentary through the written word. My condolences to family and friends.
