Published:Saturday | July 4, 2015 | 7:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

We note with concern the issue raised by your reader, Ms Noleta Case, regarding our office in Portmore.

According to her letter titled, 'PICA Portmore a grand waste of time', published on Saturday, June 27, 2015, she visited the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency's Portmore office during opening hours on Saturday, June 20 and did not receive service as the office had stopped issuing tickets for the day. She also complained about the poor attitude of one of our officers.

We wish to advise Ms Case that we are looking into the matter and will address whatever issue that needs to be fixed internally. In the meantime, we have tried to make contact with Ms Case via the email address published, but to date, we have not received a response.

We, therefore, urge Ms Case to call our office at 754-7422 and ask to speak with the customer service director, as we are desirous of addressing the matter to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
