Commissioner easily surprised
I am not surprised one bit by Commissioner of Police Dr Carl Williams' expression of shock at the killing of a colleague.
It was widely speculated that this man was not ready for the job because everything that has happened in regards to crime continues to come as a surprise to him.
It is clear that, unlike most Jamaicans, Minister of National Security Peter Bunting, the commissioner of police and the prime minister are all drinking the same Kool-Aid because they are the only ones who don't seem to recognise that Jamaica has been going up in flames, and there seems to be no urgency on their part to seriously tackle crime.
As it stands right now, I don't know who is feeling the effects of crime more - the children, the elderly, the working class or the Jamaican dollar because we are all under attack on a consistent basis.
