Wheel and come again, Digicel

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I do not know if it's a case of bad management, sheer impatience or someone not paying attention to details, but Digicel seems to have jumped the gun in rolling out its new Digiplay service. My office recently acquired the new service which, in essence, is the only fibre to the home network in Jamaica incorporating cable TV, fast Internet connection and home phone.

Sorry to say, but I suspect I fell victim to super marketing that boasted about the fastest Internet speeds and a range of other pluses. My experience so far has been less than satisfactory, and from all indications, after repeated complaints to Digicel's customer care centre, it appears as if though well-intentioned the company may have promised and rolled out too much without adequately dotting their 'I's and crossing their 'T's.

Digicel, please wheel and come again and get your ducks in a row.
