The Digicel Play team thanks The Gleaner for publishing on December 19, 2015 our response to a disputed letter of complaint that appeared in your paper earlier last week.
As much as we were very interested in making known the facts about Digicel Play's strong service reliability, we also wanted to use the opportunity to reassure existing customers and the many other persons expressing strong interest in switching to Digicel Play.
I mention this in a context where we have strategically marketed Digicel Play via direct face-to-face contact with thousands of people. Through this conversational method, we have been highly successful in socialising consumers into the benefits of true Fibre-to-the-Home technology that delivers lightning-fast Internet connectivity, high-definition TV broadcasts and digital telephone service.
The result is that we generate high levels of understanding about the product and, more important, what it can do for consumers who wish to explore, discover and try new things.
Come January 2016, we kick off hosting 'Play Date' - a series of interactive product demonstrations designed to give consumers a thorough physical illustration of how Digicel Play works.
