Residents scared as tree falls on JPS line in MoBay

We are having a concern with a tree that has fallen on the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) main line at the gate (Green Heights (New), Montego Bay). We contacted them several months ago before it fell.

One female representative told us that JPS doesn't cut trees anymore, but we were persistent in calling them. A male representative told us if there is no fire or if no one has been electrocuted, it's not classified as an emergency.

Now the tree has fallen - for two weeks now. We have been calling them every day, including the morning of January 22, 2016. JPS personnel keep saying they will contact the relevant department, but until now, no one has come.

Every time the breeze blows, it sparks fire and gives the sound of a chirping bird. We don't know what else to do as no one else can remove it.
