Creativity Jamaica's only hope
THE EDITOR, Sir:
No politician, certainly none among this batch, has the key to Jamaica's future. We do.
Whatever we think in our hearts, so are we, and I am sure all agree that the disharmony we're dwelling on in our hearts and minds is the reality that has been created.
It is time for us to change this frequency and tune into more positive vibrations.
I am not sure that everyone is aware of the artistic explosion that has taken place over the past seven years. Artists and visionaries from all over this magical island have awakened almost simultaneously and are now engaged in a steady meditative trod towards Jamaica's salvation.
Jamaica was recently designated a creative city of music by UNESCO. This movement was a reverberation from earlier vibrations from anointed spirits like Marley.
It is time that we see our creativity as the vehicle that will help us realise our most beautiful dreams.
We live in paradise, the envy of the world. Now we need to affix our collective consciousness towards the creation of the world in which we want to live. Without this shared vision, we will surely perish.
