Good commitments, JLP!

The Editor, Sir:

As both political parties outline their plans if they are elected, the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) has the plans of prosperity. The JLP is not in the habit of making promises and not fulfilling them, instead they made commitments and they will deliver.

For example, on Sunday the leader of the party, Andrew Holness, outlined that if his party is elected they would legalise ganja, implement shorter-term limits for prime minister, remove income tax from people who earn under $1.5 million per year, no fees for 18 and under, and to improve the health services, among other things.

The people of Jamaica have had enough of the poverty and unfulfilled promises from the People's National Party (PNP).

It's time the people of Jamaica recognise that the PNP is all about empty promises and nothing. The JLP has a track record of fulfilling their commitments and not to tax the poor. Vote for betterment of your country and your family. Vote for prosperity for a better Jamaica.
