PNP deprived me of info
THE EDITOR, Sir:
Participation by both the People's National Party (PNP) and the Jamaica Labour Party in the national debates would have been an indication of renewed maturity. The PNP has demonstrated that it has engaged in raising issues that were obviously intended to avoid participating in the debates.
The PNP, it seems, has taken the Jamaican people for granted in engaging in this charade, and has evidently not got the memo that this country's demographics are evolving and that platforms such as the national debates are watched by many of the undecided.
The PNP has deprived me and well-thinking Jamaicans of the opportunity to be informed. I have been left to question whether, in fact, they are committed to a change in the political process or a process that favours political expediency of the kind that swings their way.
