Linstead Hospital has a lot to answer for

"The babies are great! Take them to the clinic! Next! Next! Next!"

These are the heart-breaking words that greeted me with a "I just don't care" face when I decided to take my twin babies to Linstead Hospital on Sunday, February 28, wanting to find out the reason why my baby was crying non-stop and wouldn't eat for almost a day and a half. They had been having fever for three days and were on medication.

As I sat outside on the bench with my five-month-old babies, I could hear other patients whispering.

As I entered the door, I said good afternoon, and a woman asked what was wrong with the babies. Her attitude screamed, "Lady, mi no have no time fi u nor your sick baby," and even when I tried to explain myself to her, she pointed to the door and said, "Next!" Of course, I looked her in the face and yelled "I'm not pleased! You're unprofessional. You didn't even check my babies" I am upset! I am angry! Her entire approach was just WRONG

I am sick and tired of such behaviour. The look on this doctor's face was as if she had been working the entire day and she was just fed up. She had no level of professionalism and she needs to be exposed. I refuse to be like the rest and settle for her foolishness. If she doesn't want to work, she needs to REMOVE HERSELF and give other persons the chance to get a job.
