DPP has not performed
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I have read two pieces by Gordon Robinson - one two Sundays ago about Portia Simpson Miller and the People's National Party, as well as another about Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Paula Llewellyn from December, and I must tell you how refreshing it is to read someone tell it like it really is. Well done!
The only thing standing between a Jamaica free of corruption and injustice is the DPP. Her role is pivotal, and the entire fate of the country remains blocked by her massive ego.
Many an international diplomatic head has lamented the loss suffered by the country and the obstacles firmly cemented in our future as a country simply because Ms Llewellyn has not taken down those that need to be taken down as an example of a healthy justice system.
This country can work, but left to those such as her with her self-centred agendas and love of the limelight, there is little hope of inching forward.
Thanks, Gordon, for your honesty, your wit, and your bravery.
We, the people, appreciate you calling a spade a spade.
