Shun nasty Labourite behaviour

Published:Tuesday | March 22, 2016 | 3:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

This is an open letter to

supporters of the People's National Party (PNP).

I beseech you, my fellow Comrades. We will remain faithful and true to Jamaica. We will defend Jamaica's laws. We will not practise the politics of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP).

We will respect the prime minister and his wife. On social media, we will not endorse any form of nasty meme of our PM, his wife or any member of government. Nasty memes are a feature of Labourite behaviour. We know the pain of nasty memes and how they have portrayed Portia Simpson Miller.

We will not play the politics of posting daily crime pictures, daily dollar sliding, daily death reports of HINI. At no time can we blame the Government for HINI, ZIKV or chik-V.

We will not be like Audley Shaw, who claims the plagues on the land are a result of the PNP. The plague is a global health threat to all nations. We must clean up our environment and wash our hands. We must play our part in keeping Jamaica clean.

We will wish the best for Jamaica. We will cooperate on legislation that serves the best interests of Jamaica. We did this the last time we were in Opposition. We supported the Charter of Rights. We will not be like the JLP, which plays politics with the Caribbean Court of Justice.

We will put Jamaica first.
