Thank you, Guardian Life Group

Water woes at Oberlin High School in West Rural St Andrew may soon be a distant memory, thanks to the Guardian Life Group which has donated two large plastic tanks to our school. This donation will increase the school's storage capacity by 2800 gallons.

Over the years the school has suffered from water shortage owing to drought, no water from the main or a malfunctioning pump. In order to alleviate the frequent water shortage at the school, as well as prevent health problems and the disruption of classes, the school has embarked on installing additional water tanks to maximise the storage of the precious commodity.

We are extremely grateful and appreciate the generosity of Guardian Life Group. We asked for tanks with a capacity of 1000 gallons. The Guardian Life Group gave tanks with a capacity of 1400 gallons.

This tangible gesture by a corporate entity demonstrates their support for education. Their generosity is a fillip to our morale as we proudly celebrate our 70th anniversary.
