Well done, Mr Mahfood, Wysinco
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I have always admired William Mahfood, chairman of Wisynco, for his obvious business acumen and passionate love of country. I have also, from personal experience, found him to be a man with a big heart who is always willing to lend a hand.
My admiration for him (and, by extension, his company) grew by leaps and bounds last Friday when, without even being able to assess the full effects of the massive fire which destroyed his company's warehouse, CEO Andrew Mahfood announced that none of the workers need worry about their jobs as none of them would be displaced. The fire had not even been extinguished yet.
How many others would have responded in this manner to immediately put dozens of workers and their families at ease? Very few, I think.
I was amazed but not surprised, but such is the measure of the man.
Well done, Mr Mahfood.
