No big problem with JUTC service

Published:Saturday | June 11, 2016 | 6:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I am appealing to Minister of Transport Mike Henry that there is no major problem with the JUTC, so the travelling public is not interested in hearing any story about discoveries of this and that.

We enjoyed comfortable rides, with good service. Some persons even park their private vehicles just to take the bus, at a very reasonable fare.

Mr Henry was warned not to play politics and remove a good chairman and good CEO. We expect nothing less than we were getting before.

We are therefore not interested in hearing any made-up politicised story about hidden bottom lines and all kind of foolishness. This is a new Jamaica with very educated people who cannot be fooled by politicians.

Tell us what you are doing and ensure that you do a better job than before and not worse. Ensure the travelling public is pleased because we are the judge and remember that your government is a majority of one.

Send back Mr Mair to Venezuela to fix his country if he messes up this public transportation system.

I am a proud citizen of Jamaica.
