In support of Wykeham McNeill
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I fully endorse former tourism minister Dr. Wykeham McNeill's decision to officially offer himself to Pepole's National Party delegates at the next party conference for one of the positions of vice-presidents of the party. McNeill has been a member of the PNP for over 25 years and was first elected member of Parliament for Western Westmoreland in 1997 and to date has been an outstanding, committed and hardworking member of Parliament.
As tourism minister in the last PNP-led government, McNeill performed exceedingly well and was credited as being one of the top performing cabinet ministers. He is a well experienced knowledgeable and loyal PNP Member who has excelled in every single governmental position that he has held to date. He will certainly be an outstanding PNP vice president representing western Jamaica and has the full support of his constituency executive.
I commend him for being a dedicated member of parliament, a hardworking and successful former tourism minister and an exceptional party organiser and stalwart here in western Jamaica. I can attest to the fact that he is not a cantankerous or corrupt politician but a person of high integrity, performance and conduct.
FRANK L. R. MANBORDE,
Former PNP Councilor
