Bring records to Parliament, Mr Holness

Published:Wednesday | June 22, 2016 | 6:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I wish to congratulate Dr Peter Phillips for having the courage to ask that Prime Minister Andrew Holness' finances be tabled in the House of Representatives for public scrutiny. For someone who holds the highest office in the land and who has promised to lay his finances for the public to see, it is amazing that this was done furtively to three media houses of his choice after the exposure on '18 Degrees North'.

What is he hiding? We believe that, as voters, we have the right to see and ask questions regarding his finances.

Dr Peter Phillips is right. Mr Holness needs to take his records to Parliament.
