Customs responds to customer's grouse

This is an open letter to Jennifer McKie.

The Jamaica Customs Agency has noted your letter to the editor in The Gleaner (August 11, 2016) in which you expressed disappointment with the service you received in trying to obtain information.

We sincerely regret that you had this experience, which is not in keeping with our customer-service standards. We have sent you a copy of the most recent Motor Vehicle Rate Sheet for your perusal. This document is also available on our website, www.jacustoms.gov.jm.

Jamaica Customs places great emphasis on customer-service delivery, including having a team of trained representatives in the Customer Service Unit whose primary mandate it is to assist our clients and customers with their queries.
