Portia sounding like a dictator
THE EDITOR, Sir:
The love and loyalty of one's country supersede the love for political party, its principles or leader. It is my opinion, therefore, that the opposition leader and People's National Party president has gone overboard with her rhetoric in describing herself as a "stepping razor".
Her stern warning to her party's members who disclose sensitive,
partisan political matters to the press should not be taken lightly. However, she must be reminded that Jamaica is a multi-party state, governed by
freedom and democracy. She is beginning to sound like a dictator moving on a path to tyranny.
