Maggotty students inspired by principal

Published:Monday | February 20, 2017 | 12:00 AM

I am compelled to pay tribute to my principal, Sean Graham, for his inspirational leadership at Maggotty High School. It is not common that a principal of any school can enjoy such great overwhelming support among the students he leads. The achievement of such favourableness is testament of unique leadership that embodies great charisma.

When a principal can find time out of his busy schedule to interact with students and aid in the distribution of school lunches, and do so with grace and affection, that is evidence of his character.

At the start of the school week at general assembly, there are many who look forward to being inspired to accomplish their fullest potential as Mr Graham, in his address, will utilise his oratorical skills to encourage us to use our abilities to achieve great things. His leadership has emboldened my approach to the type of leader I wish to be.

It is within this context that Mr Graham deserves adulation for his leadership and should be an example to all leaders to seek to inspire those who they lead.

Kudos to you, Mr Graham, and continue to be the embodiment of all I aspire to be.
