Apply polygraphs for prison promotions

The Gleaner's opinion of March 1, 2017 incorrectly stated that Adidja Palmer has been serving a life sentence since 2014. He has filed an appeal and the reason he is incarcerated is because the judge denied bail.

This mistake might be regarded as a simple one, but simple mistakes elsewhere lead to acquittals!

The alleged breaches have to be investigated and evidence found to support the allegations! We cannot simply assert that the head of the Department of Correctional Services and the national security minister are ultimately accountable before the investigations are completed.

I am sure that no one has been held accountable for the mistake highlighted above.
