I, the undersigned, have been an early-morning walker in the Waterworks/Norbrook area for more than a decade now. Even more so, one of my colleagues has been jogging and walking in this same area since he moved into the neighbourhood on or about Christmas Eve, 1976, some 40 years ago.

On Wednesday, however, I was delighted to read in The Gleaner that #TEAMNWC will be "using the best technology" with the hope of "producing the best results" for "active leak detection".

Congratulations.

It is, therefore, my sincere hope that they will take a look at the referenced facility.

Since November 2016, there has been a constant, heavy flow of the very precious commodity, water, from what appears to be a large storage tank in the Waterworks facility. The groups' morning walk talk is indicating that this is an overflow from the tank because of the heavy rainfall the area has been experiencing.

I do not have any technical knowledge in the area of water storage, run-off and management, but I have personally observed for these many months the steady flow of water in the gutter leading down to Mannings Hills Road, and beyond.

Is it possible for the technical team "using the best technology" to take a look at this situation?
