Gibbs Hill road a wreck
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I was born and raised in Gibbs Hill, St Mary. I recently visited after some time of living in the United States.
The road there is terrible and seemed as if there has not been any roadwork since I left in 2000. The member of parliament (MP) for that area is Dr Winston Green of the People's National Party. The people there do not think they have a voice, and even when they voice their concerns about the condition of the road, nothing is done.
Because I live in the States, it is hard to get in contact with the MP because his contact information is not located on the Net. In addition, I am trying to remain anonymous; however, I would like if The Gleaner could shine some light on the situation so that the MP can get moving.
Please feel free to contact me via email if you need any further information.
If The Gleaner were to visit Gibbs Hill, everyone would be willing to talk about the situation.
