Is Kingston ready for conference?

Published:Sunday | July 23, 2017 | 12:00 AM

The Jamaica 55 Diaspora Conference starts today at the Jamaica Conference Centre. Hundreds, including businessmen and tourists, will converge on the city of Kingston.

However, is Kingston's environment ready for these visitors when raw sewage runs for months at the corner of West Queen Street and Princess Street?

How much work has been done on the route that these persons will take from the Norman Manley International Airport?

The Most Honourable Edward Seaga and the past CEO of Metropolitan Parks and Markets, Shirley Williams, must grieve.

What a shame!
