Bugger off, Christians

Published:Wednesday | August 2, 2017 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I concur with Ian Boyne's line of discourse on the hot motif in his column 'What's really bugging the Church?' (Sunday Gleaner, July 30, 2017). It was very balanced intellectually and spiritually sober.

My challenge to the Church is to focus on its mission of preaching the gospel for the conversion of the called-out ones and leave the degenerate world to God's judgement.

The Church has no right to legislate civic laws against questions of morality. The ritualistic church emissaries are so hypocritical and spiritually blinded that they fail to realise that homosexuality in God's sight is not different from all the other sexual sins, for which a segment of church hierarchy are notoriously guilty.
