Duhaney Park tired of begging for water
THE EDITOR, Sir:
The gross ill-treatment that is currently being meted out by the National Water Commission to paid-up residents of Duhaney Park and surrounding areas is abominable!
For instance, as early as 6:45 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017, water just absented itself. What must the citizens do? Who is really in charge?
We are done with begging and clamouring for something to which we have a right. Moreover, the dry excuses regarding broken pipelines/mains have expired.
Today, our taps are mere adornments for tubs or sinks. Meanwhile, our spirits, like the pathetic water mains, lie broken.
