Don't yield to gay agenda

Published:Monday | October 16, 2017 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

1.Those who quietly oppose buggery but only support the anti-buggery laws being retained because of their symbolic block against allowing the LGBT agenda to eventually dominate Jamaica, or because their retention may protect Christian freedoms a little longer, where is the concern for your misguided gay brothers in terms of the health-related harm buggering anuses (of either animals or humans) can bring upon themselves and the society through bisexual contact?

And those pastors who want buggery 'freed up' so as to preserve the so-called human rights of gay men to bugger male anuses, where is your godly concern for suicide-prone gay men? You have no concern for them being guided by law so as to save them/some from killing themselves via anal bacteria and faecal matter?

2.And for those who argue that church morals should not be legislated in society, and that morality and legality should not overlap, do you realise that many (not all) church morals are acceptably legislated in civil society? Incest, prostitution and stealing, for instance, are just three examples of morally opposed principles that overlap with the legal framework of civil laws.
