Digicel committed to providing affordable Internet service

We note the feedback from Digicel customer, Teddylee Gray, published in The Gleaner on November 3, 2017, titled 'Internet getting out of reach'.
Mr Gray is genuinely concerned about ensuring everyone, including the economically challenged, is able to gain access to affordable and accessible Internet service of the highest quality. We are on his side.
Digicel is the only network that allows customers with a smartphone to have free access to our Facebook Flex Internet service without credit or a data plan. Customers also have free 24/7 access to over 100 Government of Jamaica websites.
We are doing everything we can to make customers enjoy their data by offering 'open' data on all our plans and add-ons, giving customers the freedom to choose which apps they prefer to use with their available megabytes.
CUSTOMERS IN CONTROL
Putting customers in control is a major part of our Digicel 2030 commitments to customers. Our revised suite of prepaid plans is intended to do just that,
using straightforward, simple communication, better ways to activate via the MyDigicel app and longer duration bundles for more value, which ultimately put customers in the driving seat.
Digicel thanks Mr Gray for being a loyal customer. I was happy to have convinced him that we are doing everything we can to keep the Internet within reach of consumers. We intend to continue the conversation with customers like him while we expand our delivery of mobile Internet technology to more people in more places across Jamaica.
