THE EDITOR, Sir:

It is an honour that I extend the service of appreciation to two outstanding persons who are doing a tremendous job. They are none other than Michael Gentles, the postmaster general, and Julie Falconer, who is the Black River regional inspector.

Hard-working, dedicated, humble and respectful are just some of the values that describe these honourees. The relationships that have been developed with their staff was admirable, as they both strived to establish a new era within the Post and Telecommunications Department .

When you take about tender hearts, and motivators who were friendly and loyal, you are talking of these two extraordinary individuals.

It is with great pride that I use this platform to express my sincere gratitude, as they worked vigorously to bring about change within the mailing system in Jamaica. My wish for them is to continue to excel and make a difference in the world.

I am more than happy to be part of this noble department.
