NWC's Richard Meggo rude

THE EDITOR, Sir:

On February 28, 2018, I was listening to Nationwide 90FM doing an outside broadcast at Rusea's High in Hanover.

One of the biggest takeaways from this outside broadcast with Nationwide's Cliff Hughes and Patria-Kaye Aarons should've been the 53 per cent reduction of murders for the current period compared to last year's, but what spoilt it for me was the arrogant and disgusting behaviour from the National Water Commission's regional water supply and distribution manager, Dr Richard Meggo. Dr Meggo told a complaining customer that he, the customer, had an option to disconnect his services. Even the hosts were upset and tried to calm him down. Ain't NWC a government entity? NWC has a near-monopoly on the water service sector, so what other real options do customers have?

We the public need a written and verbal public apology from Dr Meggo. And if he refuses to apologise, I'm calling on NWC Chairman Aubyn Hill to bring disciplinary measures against him.
