Think before you speak, Peter Bunting
THE EDITOR, Sir:
Peter Bunting is the type of politician that Jamaica does not need. In his mind, he believes that black males who are educated and display good manners are unnatural. He believes that they should be the vulgar type, the loudmouth and the empty head. No wonder we have the current crime situation.
Mr Bunting, not every male wants to be a rude boy. Like you, all Jamaicans want a decent life for themselves and their descendants. Like you, they want to raise their children in an environment that cultivates success. They want to raise their sons in a country where displaying decency is the norm.
My suggestion to Mr Bunting is, when you try to belittle other people's children, think about your own. Think about what you would want for your own children. Thereafter, you could then make a statement.
