Stop being apologists for JLP

All governments across the world have corruption. Our aim is to minimise and eradicate corruption. That is why we need to constantly put measures in place to advance this cause. Also, we need to review our measures for any loopholes.

The argument that the People's National Party was more corrupt is nothing short of justifying corruption. The people of Jamaica will soon have their day on passing judgement on the current slate of corruption and how the Government has handled it.

The function of the Opposition and civil society is to be a check on Government. At no time during the Jamaica Labour Party's last term as Opposition did we hear the rhetoric that that party had no right to speak on corruption because it had a corrupt past.

JLP sympathisers are outright disingenuous and fallacious in hanging on to the straw of Shell, Trafigura, and Operation PRIDE, yet blatantly ignoring the failures of the JLP, such as JDIP, Dudus, and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.
