Poor customer service, Courts

Published:Thursday | August 2, 2018 | 12:12 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

It is hard when consumers worked hard for their money and are held hostage by merchants who cannot explain the failure to deliver the goods that are purchased.

Courts Jamaica Limited has failed to demonstrate good values as a supplier of consumer goods. I have forked out my hard-earned money some months now and yet I cannot get the item I have purchased in cash. To make matter worse, Courts has failed to give an honest and true reason for the non-delivery of the item purchased.

When a corporate entity can treat a Jamaican in this way, what does it expect the very dishonest and those lacking integrity to do. It is no wonder this country lacks trust and value, which can only make this society worse in its relationship with others.

These entities believe that because they are already fixtures in the commerce landscape, they can step over consumers. They are wrong, wrong, wrong.

Come on, Courts, do better.
