Who shoots at those they want to lead?

I am deeply concerned and very much worried about the events happening in Zimbabwe after the peaceful voting of people in this year's just-ended elections. It is sad and worrying that the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission failed dismally to discharge their duty of counting presidential votes, hence, creating anxiety, suspicion, and lack of trust on ZEC Chairperson Priscillah Chigumba's code of conduct.

It is heartbreaking to note that the citizens who registered dissatisfaction by protesting were shot at with live ammunition by the army, killing at least six people. It is disappointing that the so-called Zimbabwe government would order it's army to shoot to kill its citizens. The response to the protest by the Mnangagwa government was disproportionate, brutal and uncalled for. With true and genuine support, would you open fire on the people you want to lead?
