Shameful politics in statue maintenance
THE EDITOR, Sir:
The Holness administration is proving to be very petty and vindictive.
How else would you explain their treatment of the statue of Norman Manley in comparison to that of Alexander Bustamante, both of which stand at opposite ends of the St William Grant Park in downtown Kingston.
How can one statue be immaculately maintained while the other is left in a state of disrepair?
Come on, Government, do better! Haven't we outgrown this backward type of governance?
