Killer deacon and the value of life
THE EDITOR, Sir:
I am an ardent follower of articles by Dr Orville Taylor in The Sunday Gleaner, and was in total agreement with his piece on Sunday, September 9, 2018, titled 'The value of life'.
I must say that I do not even kill lizards, as I recognise their potential for controlling insects that are themselves likely to cause harm.
With regard to the deacon who allegedly killed the lovely Khyhymn Campbell, then killed himself, Dr Taylor somehow forgot to note that he had been convicted for a previous killing. Admittedly, he served time for this, but had he been eliminated then, two lives would have been lost instead of three.
