Five years too long for elections

Gordon Robinson's Sunday Gleaner column of September 9, 2018, titled 'My vision for Jamaica', is one of the best pieces I have seen in a while.

Mr Robinson expresses some of the same sentiments I have going through my head. I would also add that there be a campaign period set, like 12 months, before an election.

Better yet, I would like to see an election for MPs every two and a half years. Five years is too long for them. If they are not performing, they will be sent packing.

Let's make it work for Jamaica.
