Fuming in Manchester over NWC dysfunction

Published:Saturday | October 20, 2018 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I am a resident of Mandeville, Manchester. Every single morning I wake up to shower for work, there is limited or no water in the pipe.

How can you provide customers with a service that has disruptions daily? How can you guys have the audacity to be requesting an increase when your service is so poor? To have these disruptions in the mornings, when people bathe to go to work, is unacceptable.

I strongly believe that until you guys can facilitate customers with consistent water supply, you don't deserve one red penny from the hard-working citizens of this country.

It's just unfortunate that not all of us could manage to build tanks in our homes so that we wouldn't depend on the water company.

These people don't consider how their actions affect us, as citizens. Who are we to demand better services, you may wonder? We deserve to be treated with importance.
